Candidates can also be employed as team members during the rescue work at the time of any natural disaster both in India and outside of it as per the guidelines of the Government of India. Eligibility Criteria for DM Endocrinology and Metabolism

1. The students must have completed their 10+2 level of schooling with subjects like biology, chemistry and physics.

2. The student must have successfully completed their MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery) from a reputed college or institution.

3. MBBS is a 5½ years course and includes a one-year internship period as well.

4. In addition, many colleges and universities conduct entrance exams for students to be eligible for the course. There is no age limit to applying for this course.

1. The choice of possibility for admission to the course is to be made based on a selection test in principle and clinical evaluation held by the Institute/University.

2. Colleges publish notice of admission on their website from a period of June when most Indian universities would have finished degree exams.

3. Candidate to apply for each college, as each college considers each mark as the cut-off mark.

4. Some private colleges and deemed universities perform their counselling process by conducting their university-level entrance exams.

5. Some colleges require a minimum of 50% aggregate in the qualifying examination.

6. Candidates who qualify for the test are called for an interview before the final seat.
